At PunahChakra, we respect your data privacy rights. Users can request the complete deletion of their account and associated personal data at any time.

How to Request Account Deletion

Option 1: In-App Account Deletion (Instant)

You can delete your account directly inside the PunahChakra mobile application:

  1. Open the PunahChakra App on your mobile device.
  2. Tap the Profile Tab on the bottom navigation bar.
  3. Tap on Personal Information / Settings.
  4. Scroll to the bottom and tap the red Delete Account button.
  5. Confirm your selection to permanently erase your profile and sign out.

Option 2: Online / Email Request

If you cannot access the app, you can submit an account deletion request via email:

  • Include your full name and registered email address. Our team will process your request and permanently erase your account data within 48 hours.

Types of Data Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently purged from our database:

  • Full Name, Email Address, Phone Number, and Delivery/Pickup Address.
  • Authentication Credentials and Saved Access Tokens.
  • Active Pickup Requests and Personal Preferences.

Data Retention Period & Legal Exceptions

Aggregated environmental figures (e.g., total kilograms recycled across the platform) are retained for cumulative carbon reporting, stripped of all personal identity.
