About Us
The idea for PunahChakra came from observing that many people are willing to donate usable items, but often do not have a convenient or structured way to do so. At the same time, a large number of reusable belongings end up unused or discarded. This project aims to bridge that gap using technology.
As a Grade 11 student project combining Computer Science and social impact, PunahChakra explores how digital platforms can help improve community participation and resource management. The platform allows users to register, schedule pickup slots, and track their contributions, while also helping collectors manage pickup locations and logistics more efficiently.
The project is currently focused mainly on clothing and lightweight reusable items, with future plans to expand features such as contribution tracking, route optimization, and impact analytics.
PunahChakra is an attempt to create a small but meaningful system that encourages reuse, reduces waste, and promotes a more sustainable cycle of sharing within communities.
